terms & Conditions

Applicable Terms:

These Service Terms and Conditions are in addition to the our Terms and Conditions (available by clicking the link above). By booking an appointment with us and/or when receiving our Services, you agree to be bound by (a) Terms and Conditions (available by clicking the link above), (b) the following Service Terms and Conditions, (c) where applicable, the Subscription Terms and Conditions, and (d) all additional terms and conditions and policies referenced herein and/or available by hyperlink.

If any of the below Service Terms and Conditions conflict with any of other terms and conditions listed above, these Service Terms and Conditions will apply.

Booking & Deposit:

We will require a deposit in order to secure your appointment. If you book through our website, the deposit amount will be confirmed, and payment of the deposit will be payable, at the online checkout when booking.

If you book in store, we will book your appointment and a payment link for the deposit will be sent to you via email.

If you are unsure about the service you require, please email us for guidance or book a complimentary consultation.

Note: Clients with hair extensions will incur an additional charge of £20 per service (including cut and blow-dry, blow-dries, colour, etc.).

Consultations:

At the start of your appointment, we will conduct a detailed consultation and assess the services you require and your desired results. This will include an assessment of the price for your service. At this point we may need to change the service that you have booked and adjust the price payable in order to achieve your desired results.

We undertake these consultations at every appointment, for every client, to ensure transparency and understanding of the final service and its cost. If you have any concerns about the service or the costs, please let us know during the consultation. If you do not express any concerns during this time, we will provide the services as explained to you and payment (in accordance with these terms) will be due and payable in full at the end of the appointment.

Note: For new clients, our process for payment and consultations will differ slightly from the above, please see section “New Clients” below, for more information on consultations and payments.

Service Pricing:

All our service prices start from a base rate, these are set out on our website and can be confirmed in the salon but are all subject to change.

Final costs are determined by the time and products required for each service and the level and experience of your chosen stylist. We reserve the right to change our charging rates at any time. The time and products required will vary for each client.

Clients with hair extensions will be informed of the additional £20 charge during this consultation.

As above, a detailed consultation on pricing is conducted before each service, your stylist may confirm the anticipated final cost. However, as all prices are determined by the time and products required, the final cost is difficult to predict and ae based on a reasonable prediction of the time and products that are required. The final price due and payable will be confirmed at the end of your appointment.

To confirm, our base rates and any estimates provided to you at any time are for guidance only and should not be considered as definitive or final prices.

Pricing Changes:

To ensure our costs are clear and transparent, we have set our some of the occasions when we may charge you an amount higher than our estimated costs, this is not a conclusive list but should help provide you with guidance as to any difference between our estimated and final cost.

Such occasions where we may charge a higher amount than estimated include:

- if what you need us to do changes, or the amount of services you need us to carry out increases, or is different from what we and you agreed before we started carrying out the services;

- if when we carry out the services, it becomes clear the extent of services we will need to carry out is different from what we agreed before we started carrying out the services; or

- if when we carry out the services, we need to use additional products/materials than anticipated in order to provide you with the service.

Payment:

We will confirm the total amount payable and invoice you at the end of your appointment, at which time your invoice will become immediately due and payable and we will take payment from you.

The deposit paid prior to your appointment will be deducted from your final cost.

We accept cash, credit cards, debit cards, and ApplePay (or other similar electronic payment methods).

Outstanding invoices will be liable to incur interest charges and subject to recovery enforcement and legal action.

Note: For new clients, our process for payment and consultations will differ slightly from the above, please see section “New Clients” below, for more information on consultations and payments.

New Clients:

We want to ensure transparency and clarity for all of our clients and work together with you to ensure that the service you require achieves your desired results. In order to do this, we have a slightly different process in relation to payment and consultations for our new clients.

In order to achieve this, for all new clients that are looking to book specialised services with a total base rate of over £100 (for example, colour correction, balayage or keratin treatments), the following process will apply:

- As with all clients, a deposit will be required at the time of booking your appointment, this deposit amount will be confirmed and payable in accordance with the Booking & Deposit section above.

- Following your booking, and payment of the deposit, you will be required to come into the salon for an initial consultation where your chosen stylist can assess the services you have requested and what is required to achieve the desired results. This will include a pricing assessment where you will be given an estimate of the total cost payable for your chosen service.

- At the initial consultation, if you choose to proceed with the services, we will book your appointment and will require a second deposit, the amount of which will be confirmed and payable immediately following the initial consultation at the time of booking your final appointment.

- At your final appointment we will conduct a final consultation to ensure that we understand your desired results, that you understand the services we will be providing, and that you are happy with the estimated costs.

- If you wish to proceed, before moving forward with the services, we will require the final balance of the price from you. This will equal the balance of estimate provided, minus the first and second deposit that we have received.

- Please be aware that the service prices and the pricing changes section will still apply to you. There are a number of reasons why the final price may exceed the estimate we have provided and that is detailed further in those sections above.

- At the end of your appointment, in accordance with the payment section above, we will confirm the total price and invoice you. This invoice will be immediately due and payable. We will use the interim payments (the first deposit, second deposit, and balance payment) as payment against this invoice, and any remaining amount will be due and payable immediately.

- If you choose to cancel your appointment our 24-hour policy, set out in the cancellation section below, will apply. Please note the 24-hour period will be the 24-hours prior to the appointment in which the chosen services will be provided, and not 24-hours prior to the initial consultation.

- To confirm, if you choose to cancel within 24-hours of your appointment, in accordance with our 24-hour policy, the deposit retained by us will be the first deposit (paid on booking) only, any further deposit or amount paid in advance of the services will be returned to you.

Interest:

If we are unable to collect any payment you owe us we charge interest on the overdue amount at the rate of 2% a year above the Bank of England base rate from time to time. This interest accrues on a daily basis from the due date until the date of actual payment of the overdue amount, whether before or after judgment. You pay us the interest together with any overdue amount.

Cancellations:

We operate a 24-hour cancellation policy, all appointments must be cancelled 24 hours or more before they are due to start. You will receive a full refund of any deposit paid if you cancel your appointment more than 24-hours before it is due to start, however, deposits will be non-refundable if your appointment is cancelled less than 24 hours before your booked appointment time.

Missed appointments without a deposit may result in a fee on your next invoice.

To confirm, appointments in this section refer to the appointment in which the service is provided and does not refer to consultations.

Note: New clients should ensure they have read the new clients section above to ensure you understand the process and the amount of deposit that will be retained if you cancel within 24-hours of your appointment.

Skin Tests:

A mandatory patch test for hair colouring is required 48 hours before the appointment for all clients, both new and returning (if it’s been over 3 months). This ensures compliance with our product regulations.

Complaints:

Please address any service concerns within 7 days. We’ll arrange an in-person meeting to discuss and address them.

If you attend another salon before meeting with us in person, we will be unable to discuss and address any concerns with you.

We are not responsible for corrective work performed by another salon and do not issue refunds for completed services.
